On Wednesday 14 members went by minibus to Pin Mill (plus 2 by car) and enjoyed a pleasantly warm day with lovely sea breezes. I have not been there before and was delighted to find that it is a painters' paradise, providing you like painting boats. After tea/coffee we all found various positions for sketching, which kept us amused for an hour or two. Then we all went to The Butt and Oyster for lunch and you will see from the picture that they provided us with really tasty food. Most of us tried another sketch although some probably just relaxed. I think everyone agreed that we had a lovely day. The journeys in both directions were good.
Many thanks to Frances for organising the transport. We were very sorry that you and Russell were not able to be with us.
